Don’t dispose butts out the window

DRIVING behind an old C200 gold Mercedes on June 5, I witnessed the man who was driving discard his cigarette butt on Taunton Road.

To him and all the other smokers who litter our roads, please use your ashtray.

Not only are you setting a bad example to others, but you can cause tremendous damage through the starting of fires.

We are in the winter months and have just had many days of strong winds.

It is common decency and sense to dispose of your cigarette in a manner that doesn’t litter our planet and possibly cause devastation.
