Kumbabhishekam of Balamurugan Temple held

The Ashtabandhana Maha Kumbabhishekam of Sri Balamurugan Temple in Ratnagiri, was performed on Monday.

Devotees gathered in large numbers to witness the grand event.

Priests poured holy waters on the kalasams atop the tower of the sanctum sanctorum.

The Kumbabhishekam was being performed after a gap of 12 years.

Sri Balamuruganadimai, hereditary trustee of the temple, Sri Sakthi Amma, Head of Sri Narayani Peedam, Thrumalaikkodi, Vellore, Sri Sachidananda Swamigal of the Kamalakkanni Adheenam, Kalavai, Sri Ponnambala Adigalar of the Kunrakkudi Adheenam and Sri Santha Swamigal of the Sarvamangala Peedam, Tiruvalam were present at the event.
