After-hours buzz: Montpelier, Xerox & more

Shares of advertising firm Outfront Media rose more than 2 percent after it responded to the Securities and Exchange Commission's request for comment in reference to its latest annual report.

Xerox said it completed the sale of its information technology outsourcing unit to Atos. The company said it would use the proceeds of about $850 million for stock buybacks and acquisitions.

Shares of insurance provider Montpelier Re Holdings rose nearly 2 percent after it said shareholders voted in favor of a proposed merger with Millhill Holdings, a subsidy of Endurance.
