In a daring house breaking case some unknown persons broke into a jewellery shop in Parel and decamped away with 3 kgs of gold ornaments and other booty worth Rs 5 crores.

MUMBAI: In a daring house breaking case some unknown persons broke into a jewellery shop in Parel and decamped away with 3 kgs of gold ornaments and other booty worth Rs 5 crores.
Shockingly the gang sneaked into the Solanki jewellers by breaking into the wall of the neighbouring shop in Kalachowky area. The shop is just half a kilometre away from the Kalachowky and the ATS unit.

According to the police, the house breaking came to light only on Tuesday morning when the shopkeeper open his shop. Jeweller H B Solanki told police that gold and silver ornaments weighing around 3 kgs worth Rs 5 crores have been robbed from his shop.
The Kalachowky police have registered a house breaking case and suspect that the robber may be known and may have done recce before carrying the house breaking. The crime branch unit four and the Anti robbery squad have been pulled in to crack the case.
