Petrol prices cut by 31 paise;diesel by 71 paise

New Delhi, Jun 30 (UNI) In sync with the global crude oil prices, Petrol prices were cut by 31 paise per litre while diesel prices cut by 71 paise per litre which will be effective from midnight today. After the revision, the price of petrol in Delhi will become Rs 66.62 per litre, while diesel would cost Rs 50.22 per litre in Delhi. Fuel prices were last revised on June 15, 2015 when petrol prices were hiked by 64 paise per litre while diesel was cut by 1.35 per litre. The movement of prices in international oil market and INR-USD exchange rate shall continue to be monitored closely and developing trends of the market will be reflected in future price changes, IOCL said in a statement.
