The TNT network television series “Major Crimes” will return July 6 for Season 4, episode 5. The episode, titled "Snitch," is about a gangland shooting with a complex angle. Plus, Rusty will find some new information about a case he is working on. The episode will feature Capt. Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell), Detective Amy Sykes (Kearran Giovanni), Rusty Beck (Graham Patrick Martin) and Lt. Andy Flynn (Tony Denison).

The events follow Season 4, episode 4, titled "Turn Down," which showed Reserve Officer Buzz Watson (Phillip P. Keene) discovering a dead body in a hotel room's bathtub during his first drive-along. This unfortunate incident threatened a very expensive wedding.

The epsiode also featured Provenza and Flynn's plans of taking members of the Los Angeles Police Department's Major Crimes division to a Dodgers baseball game for the Fourth of July. "Turn Down" was written by Adam Belanoff and directed by Paul McCrane. Joe Regalbuto, Kathe Mazur, Galadriel Stineman, Blake Cooper Griffin, Lee Garlington and Jeanette Brox appeared in the episode as guest stars.

Meanwhile, Sykes will be in charge of protecting the identity of an important witness in the shooting who could be the key to finding the killer. As for Rusty, he will try hard to manage new information regarding the case about Alice. Plus, Flynn will muster up the courage to take his relationship with Raydor to the next level.

"Major Crimes" Season 4, episode 5, "Snitch," airs at 9 p.m. EDT July 6 on TNT.
