A Georgetown man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a patron in a local bar named Mother’s Saloon.

Dean M. Hennessy, 51, was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of attempted murder, assault and driving under the influence.

The knife attack at Mother’s Saloon happened Sunday night, according to the Clear Creek County District Attorney’s Office.

Hennessy remains in custody and is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Clear Creek court.

Investigators did not say what lead to the incident.

The victim, a man, was treated for injuries and is expected to recover, according to the DA’s media release.

Georgetown police and Clear Creek sheriff’s deputies made the arrest.
