Mixed response to shared management plan

Wandsworth LBC has received a mixed response to plans to share its management with neighbouring Richmond LBC.

A report to a meeting of the council’s executive yesterday set out plans for a single staffing structure for the two boroughs by 2017, which the council says will save 30 per cent of current management costs, amounting to a total of £20m.
