Srirangam temple honours sent to Kattumannarkovil

Temple honours from Srirangam Sri Ranganathaswamy temple were despatched to Sri Nadhamunigal shrine at Kattumannarkovil in Cuddalore district on the occasion of the saint’s avatara tirunakshatram on Monday.

The temple honours included holy clothes, garlands, and dry fruits. The honours were taken in a procession from the Uthira Street and sent to Kattumannarkovil.

S. Jayaraman, Joint Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, who is the Executive Officer of the temple, said it was Sri Nadhamunigal who compiled the Naalayira Divya Prabandham. The honour was to mark the saint’s great endeavour in this regard, he added.
