The Election Commission is conducting special camps on July 5 and 12 at different polling centres in East Assembly constituency in the city for synchronisation of voter ID cards with Aadhaar cards. These camps will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and residents, who failed to furnish their Aadhaar cards earlier, can do the same at designated centres or polling booths on the day. Details can also be furnished at East Assembly Constituency election office at VMC by producing true copies of Aadhaar cards and voter ID cards, a press release stated.
