Tollywood celebrates US same-sex marriage verdict with rainbow-filter display pictures on Facebook.
To commemorate the Supreme Court's historic judgment legalizing same-sex marriage across the US as a fundamental constitutional right guaranteed under the 14th Amendment, Facebook was quick to come up with a tool that covers one's display picture in a rainbow filter, as a symbol for LGBT rights.Tollywood rejoiced the judgment by creating and putting up rainbow-filtered display pictures on their Facebook accounts. It is heartening to see Tollywood come together to lend support to such a cause. Here's hoping to see more people from the Bengali film fraternity to join the gay pride colour bandwagon on Facebook.
Here's how you too can celebrate pride on Facebook: Log on to Facebook and then to www.facebook.com/celebratepride. You will see a preview of your display picture with a rainbow filter. Click on ���use as profile picture��� and your profile picture will be uploaded in the filter.
