Beijing's happy-hour hot spot of the moment is Buena Onda, a Peruvian pop-up that promises to bring the good vibes of South America to the streets of China's capital. It starts with well-crafted nibbles like this Ecuadoran ceviche, with fresh nuggets of seafood, and salmon tartare. Then, there are three versions of the pisco sour - a sassy cocktail perfect for summer, and served in a jewel-toned martini glass. Coming soon: salsa lessons on Tuesdays and a dance party at the plaza on Fridays.
Buena Onda pop-up after 5 pm at Cafe Flatwhite, 6 Xi Dawang Lu in CBD, Chaoyang district, Beijing.
