Falling back into Art Deco opulence at Sheen Falls Lodge

Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare is one of the most delightful places we know, for a night, a weekend, a week; for rest, relaxation, and steady appreciation of sheer beauty. And so we are pleased to hear that The Falls restaurant has now reopened, transformed into an opulent Art Deco-inspired elegant, warm and vibrant space, one that recreates the unmistakable sense of dining in a historic grand hotel. The menu has been transformed too, by head chef Philip Brazil, and features a tempting variety of delicious dishes, containing fresh locally sourced produce, including pan-seared Kerry scallops, natural Castletownbere rock oysters, flame-grilled fillet of Tipperary Hereford Irish beef, pan-roast Kenmare cod fillet and a Ring of Kerry lamb duo with roast cannon. Soak in the merry sound of the falls cascading beyond the window, sink into the buttoned-back chairs, and let the Sheen Falls magic begin.
