London-based Limerickman Ollie O'Donovan scored a fine double at Mondello Park when his Ford Fiesta won both the Supercar final and the main race of the day, the Super Final, on the second day of the British Rallycross Championship double-header Irish weekend.

O'Donovan, a former holder of the British title, came under severe pressure from Dubliner Derek Tohill in the first race, eventually triumphing by two seconds as Tohill, himself a multiple European champion, held off current British champion Julian Godfrey by less than one tenth of a second to take runner-up position.
