Brotherhood, Kollywood style!

While Lawrence is set to launch his brother Elvin in Kollywood, there are many brothers in Kollywood who are collaborating together and have helped shape up each other���s careers.
Selvaraghavan is ���the man��� in Dhanush���s film career. A powerful breakout role in Kadhal Kondein, a critically acclaimed character Kokki Kumar in Pudhupettai, a photographer in Mayakkam Enna, it looks like the ace director saves his best for his brother.It is an undeniable fact that Selvaragavan has been instrumental in shaping up Dhanush���s career. ���Whatever height I reach in my career, I owe it all to my brother Selva,��� Dhanush admits.
Venkat Prabhu has so far not directed a single film without his dear brother Premgi. From his debut film Chennai 600028 to the recent Massu Engira Maasilamani, Premgi has been a second lead of sorts in his films. Venkat has remarked that every time he writes a script, he somehow writes a role for Premgi. The actor, too, has been at his humorous best only under his brother���s direction.
After roping in his brother Elvin to dance along with him in the song, Sillatta Billatat in Kancahna 2, Lawrence will now be launching his brother as a hero in an upcoming film. After his debut film Puthagam, Sathya got a breakthrough in Amara Kaaviyam, which was produced by Arya. This film gave an identity to Sathya in Kollywood. Right from audio launch to film���s release, Arya was right beside his brother throughout the film. Sathya has called Amara Kaaviyam, as his ���brother���s gift��� during the promotions of the film.
Raja and Ravi made a joint debut in Tamil cinema with Jayam. They have complemented each other right from their first film and the initial films that Ravi did with Raja gave him his lover-boy image. So far, this duo has worked on five films together and is currently working again in Thani Oruvan.
