In a world where virtual presence is all-important, at times one has to pay the price for being upfront and vocal about one’s views. While cracking jokes and creating memes on various social networking sites is something that our celebs are now getting used to, sometimes fan-atic involvement in a celeb’s life makes things spiral out of control. However, it seems like some celebrities are no longer going to take the online ‘heckling’ quietly and are giving it back to fans when things go awry.
Here are some celebs who didn’t shy from voicing their displeasure.

When Vishakha got an ‘unfair’ deal...
One of the ugliest things that someone can come across on the internet is being abused for one’s physical appearance. But Fukrey actress Vishakha Singh isn’t someone who was ready to take it lying down. Recently, the actress became victim of a vulgar comment from a male follower, when she posted a picture of her wearing a tee with a cool caption. And as if that wasn’t enough another man joined in to make their points clear to her. Vishakha quickly responded to the lewd comments and gave it right back without mincing words. Soon support started flowing in for her. However, Vishaka deleted the entire post, citing that she wanted to get rid of the situation before it went out of hand and spread more negativity.

When Rishi Kapoor slammed singer Abhijeet

Rishi Kapoor who has been quite active on the micro-blogging site in recent times, was one of the first few who responded to singer Abhijeet’s views which he expressed during the ongoing Salman Khan case hearing. The veteran actor, who was miffed with Abhijeet’s comments, slammed the singer’s remarks as ‘tasteless and uncalled for’. Predictably Kapoor’s view was supported by followers and the Hindi film fraternity .
Nobody messes with Abhishek and Beti B!

While Abhishek Bachchan has always sportingly taken jokes and memes that’s targeted towards him on social media, this time he did lose his cool. Recently a micro-blogging site user bore the brunt of Abhishek’s wrath when he dragged Aaradhya Bachchan into one of his comments. The Happy New Year actor shot back saying that he is ‘ready to work harder and make films that the audience will like and appreciate, but bringing his daughter into this mess, is totally uncool’. While the user did apologize to Abhishek eventually, the war of words did get quite intense and almost ugly!
How Salman told off abusive fans

Salman Khan fans were certainly jubilant when their idol decided to join a micro-blogging site. But soon things went awry when fans of the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor started trolling fellow actors Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Salman soon lost his cool and decided to end this once and for all. Salman sent out the message that his entire purpose of joining social media was to be in touch with his fans and spread love. He also threatened fans that if things didn’t stop he’d quit social media. Needless to say, the fans got their idol’s message loud, clear and in bold letters.
Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘weighty’ issues

Be it her weight issues, her movie choices or even her forehead, the Dabbang actress has always been a sport, taking all the jokes in her stride. However, the usually calm actress totally lost it when Kamaal R Khan lashed out at her and took a dig on her and other actress by commenting on how the industry lacks Kim Kardashian sized derriere. Ms Sinha wasted no time and lashed out on her micro-blogging site, stating how his comments and surveys are lewd, disrespectful to women and the actor is a total ‘waste of space’ in the virtual world.
Meanwhile...
Seth Rogen: The Knocked Up star, recently lost his calm, when his wife and their dog were denied seats on a well-known airliner. The couple, who were supposed to attend the funeral of his wife’s grandmother, were forced to wait at the check-in counter close to 90 minutes before they were denied the seats. The star slammed the airlines for a shoddy job and urged his followers on his micro-blogging site to never use the said airline.
Rose Mcgowan: It seems that American actress and singer Rose Mcgowan isn’t afraid to voice her thoughts on social media. Recently the actress posted the notes and instructions that came along with one of the movie scripts she has been eyeing. However, what triggered her is the mention of the condition that said, ‘push-up bras’ will be encouraged. The actor slammed the industrywallahs for such shallow requirements.
Ansel Elgort: Ansel Elgort too recently took to the micro-blogging site, to ‘straighten’ up certain points about his sexuality. The Fault In Our Stars actor whose sexuality had been scrutiny for some time now, took on social media and slammed the reports by stating that he like girls…a lot. The actor added that if he had been gay, he wouldn’t have hidden it.
Rihanna: Rihanna who is known to be extremely active on almost every social media site. Be it slamming her ex, or dissing contemporary Ciara with rude remarks or taking up top publications about spreading rumors about her, RiRi makes sure nobody takes her for a ride.
