JAMMU, June 27: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in close coordination with Unison Cultural Troupe, Sangam Tru Art Production and ESRM presented its musical play “Nashe Kola Bacho in its Saturday Musical Play series at Open Air Theatre, Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu.
The main objective of presenting the play was to promote most effective measures to protect the masses especially the vulnerable population i.e. adolescents from getting exploited by the menace of Drug addiction and enable them to adopt safe and rational use of drugs by way of generating awareness through effective information and communication technologies.
The program was inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, State Health Department. Among the guest of honors were VK Magotra, Dr Anju Kumari Dogra and Romesh Chander.
Specially prepared on the theme “Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio”, “Bacho Bacho Tobacoo Kola Bacho”, “Nai Pee Shraban”, “Bari Kharab Chutki “, “Nahin Piya Tobacco Balma”, Nukkad, Skits, Songs and Dances were presented to aware the masses.
The singers, musicians and actors who performed in the play were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, Raju Bajgal (Instrument), Kuldeep Raj (Tabla/Actor), JK Raina, Rajat Verma, Sant Das, Komal Rajput, Rajni Gupta, Rohan Casnova, Neelam Gandotra, Sooraj Perkash, HemRaj, Kamli Devi, Sunil Kumar, Shivani Disgotra, Deevam Jandiyal, Maitri Salaria, Rakshit Sharma, Dhruv Pandit, Pranavi Khajuria, Rajesh, Rajanya Khajuria, Samarth Gupta, Sanam Gupta, Vansh Raina, Darsh, Renu Saproo, Shaksham Khajuria, Abhyudaya Sharma, Rajveer, Vandana Gupta, Anantika Sharma, L-Danika, Bhumika Chib, Neelam Chib and Ayush Bhat.
