FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) issued a statement saying the Bombay High Court had, on Thursday, ordered filmmaker Sanjay Gupta to deposit '20 lakh in court, failing which there would be a Non-Cooperative Directive against him by the JDSC (Joint Dispute Settlement Committee), there was an order from the court on Friday, saying the FWICE had jumped the gun.
In his order, the judge stated, “
I cannot express in strong words enough my extreme dismay at the tone, content and language used in this communication.”

The Times of India Entertainment The court has reportedly admonished the federation for hurriedly issuing a press statement on its own accord. Following the court order, the FWICE has issued an unconditional apology and recalled its communication. The matter will be listed for tomorrow, June 29 first on the board at 11 am, when the court is likely to issue the order.
