Marie 'czecks' Kyra Shroff in semi-final

Chandigarh, Jun 27 (UNI) Qualifier Kyra Shroff of India lost her semi-final round to second seeded Marie Bouzkova of Czech Republic in straight sets 3-6, 1-6 in the
10,000 ITF Women's Tennis Tournament Grand Baie La Croisette in Mauritius today. Top seeded Indian pair of Snehadevi S Reddy and Dhruthi Tatachar Venugopal were denied the doubles crown by the second seeded South African pair of Ilze Hattingh and Madrie Le Roux who recorded a straight sets 6-2, 6-4 verdict in the final. Kyra Shroff today could not display her fine form which she had done in her earlier matches on way to semi-finals. She could earn only 33 points while her rival obtained 60 with five break points. Kyra committed two double faults while Marie had one double fault.
