CPI State meet on July 6

It will focus on Polavaram, special status

The state-level conference of CPI, to be held here from July 6, will see over 200 party members discuss issues such as the Polavaram irrigation project, special status for Andhra Pradesh, the present political scenario in the State and the CPI’s future course of action. Party leaders Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, K. Narayana and K. Ramakrishna and others will speak at the conference.

At a press conference on Friday, CPI State Secretariat committee member Ravula Venkaiah criticised the new liquor policy.
