JAMMU, June 26: Roshni Cricket Club (MCC) and Abrar Cricket Club (ACC) registered wins and sailed into next round of the ongoing Ist Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh Gold Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament, being played at Cantt Ground, Satwari.
In the first match, Roshni Cricket Club (RCC) crushed Magicians Cricket Club (MCC) by a huge margin of 95 runs and entered into next stage.
Batting first, RCC scored 172 runs for all out in 16 overs. Gulu was top scorer with 36 runs, whereas Deepu made 20 runs.
From MCC side, Sunil was pick of the bowler with 5 wickets, whereas Kushal took 3 wickets.
In reply, MCC failed to chase the target and were bundled out at paltry 77 runs for all out. Shubham Datta and Kushal made 23 and 9 runs respectively.
For RCC side, Sonu was the wrecker-in-chief with 4 wickets, whileas Bunty scalped 3 wickets.
Sonu of RCC was awarded with man of the match title.
In the second match, Abrar Cricket Club (ACC) registered 5 wickets win over Red Rose Cricket Club (RRCC) and entered into next round of the tournament.
Batting first, RRCC made 92 runs for all out in 13 overs. Vikram and Rakesh made 21 and 15 runs respectively.
From ACC side, Ritik with his best bowling skills scalped 5 wickets and Hitesh took 2 wickets.
In second inning, ACC chased the target for the loss of 5 wickets in 12 overs. Bandeep made 19 runs, whileas Sehwag scored 16 runs.
From RRCC side, KK scalped 2 wickets, whereas Sonu, Aman and Rakesh took 1 wicket apiece.
Ritik of ACC was adjudged as man of the match.
The tournament is being organised by Youth National Conference Gandhi Nagar.
