RAJOURI, June 26: A doctor among four locals of Ward number 13 in Rajouri town sustained minor injuries while capturing a notorious thief, who was involved in a number of burglary attempts in the area.
According to the locals, the thief was chased and finally captured after some scuffle, in which four persons, including Dr Parveen Sharma of District Hospital Rajouri, sustained injuries.
Later the thief, identified as Mohd Shoket of Sawari in Kotranka, was handed over to the Police.
The locals alleged that despite providing video footage of some earlier cases of theft and identification of the accused, Police did nothing in this regard.
