Demand grows for arrest of Kunigal MLA’s son

The district unit of Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sanga (KRRS) submitted a memorandum to the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Anuradha demanding the District Administration to arrest Dr. Ravi, son of Kunigal MLA and Zilla Panchayat member, on Friday afternoon.

District president of KRRS, A. Govindaraju, Honorary president, S.D. Chikkanna, Tumakuru taluk president, Chikkaboregowda and other farmers demanded the District Administration to immediately arrest Dr. Ravi who had physically assaulted Kunigal taluk president of KRRS, Anand Patel in the meeting.

About the incident

President of Kunigal taluk unit of Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sanga (KRRS) was allegedly assaulted by Tumakuru Zilla Panchayat member, Dr. Ravi, son of Kunigal MLA, during a meeting on the supply of water from Markonahalli dam at Amruthur in Kunigal taluk on Thursday.
