Eetee knocks out Ola

Eetee Maheta knocked out second seed Ola Abou Zekry of Egypt 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 in the first round of the $10,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

The 19-year-old Eetee, ranked 905 in the world, recovered from 2-4 to take the first set. In the second, she was down 0-4 and unable to recover. In the decider, Eetee hit back by running up a 4-0 lead, against the 28-year-old Ola, ranked 455.
