Catalan Delegate in Madrid Steps Down After Mas’s Party Splits

The Catalan government’s representative in Madrid stepped down after his party abandoned regional President Artur Mas’s push for independence from Spain.
Josep Maria Bosch tendered his resignation Monday and may return to his permanent post in the Spanish diplomatic service, he said in an interview Wednesday. The regional government still has to accept his decision officially.
