Dani Pedrosa beats Marc Marquez in Assen FP2

Dani Pedrosa beat Honda team-mate Marc Marquez to top the second MotoGP practice session at Assen.

Marquez led the vast majority of the session, moving seven tenths clear of the field with a time of 1m33.589s less than 10 minutes in.
In the closing stages, Yamaha's Valentino Rossi, Pedrosa and LCR Honda rider Cal Crutchlow all began eating into Marquez's advantage.
Pedrosa then claimed top spot with a couple of minutes remaining, outpacing Marquez by 0.139 seconds.
Rossi and the lead Ducati of Andrea Iannone were close to Marquez with late efforts, bumping Crutchlow down to fifth.
Championship leader Jorge Lorenzo was sixth on the second Yamaha, followed by Andrea Dovizioso's Ducati.
Suzuki riders Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales completed the top 10 either side of Pramac Ducati man Danilo Petrucci.
