Debenhams 15-week LFL Sales Remain Flat, Backs 2015 Outlook - Quick Facts

British department store group Debenhams plc. (DEB.L), in its trading update, said group like-for-like sales for 15 weeks ended June 13, 2015 remained flat with last year, while it was up 2.1 percent in constant currencies.

The company had previously announced that the New Season Spectacular being brought forward into the first half, along with other promotional changes, diluting LFL sales by about 1 percent for the period.

Group gross transaction value for the 15-week period edged up 0.4 percent.

Looking ahead, the company said gross margin guidance for fiscal 2015 remains unchanged, and that it is on track to achieve full-year profit in line with market expectations.
