TV actor Sanjeet Bedi passes away

Sanjeet Bedi, known for his role in Sanjeevani passed away on Tuesday. He was suffering from brain virus following which he was in coma for sometime. Though the actor was not seen on TV shows in recent times, he has to his credit serials like Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka, Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman and Jaane Kya Baat Hui.

Karanvir Bohra, who was a was a close friend of Sanjeet recalls, "We had done Kasauti Zindagi Kay together and he became one of my closest friends. After a few shows, he had gone abroad for a musical play. So, he was not seen on TV for the past two-three years. When he came back I asked my manager to get him to meet a few producers and directors. He was one of the most optimistic persons I know. He was a lot into yoga and was doing well. But he had an old ailment which triggered off in the last two months. His passaing away came as a shock to us."

Sachin Tyagi who worked with him in Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman remembers Sanjeet "as a very cool, down-to-earth, simple guy. I work with many actors, and though I worked with Sanjeet eight years ago, he stood out. He would always say, I can handle any kind of problem, stress, but financial - not that he was facing it. Most of us actors are terribly in love with ourselves but he was somebody one could have intelligent, profound conversations.

It is shocking to know that he died at a young age."
