Silvio Branco revived his career in Vigorelli, Milan, Italy Thursday night when he outscored Puerto Rican Manny Siaca to become WBA interim light-heavyweight champion.
Silvio Branco revived his career in Vigorelli, Milan, Italy Thursday night when he outscored Puerto Rican Manny Siaca to become WBA interim light-heavyweight champion.
The veteran Italian outscored Siaca unanimously over 12 rounds by scores of 119-109 on all three judges cards. Branco is now scheduled to face champion Fabrice Tiozzo from France.
Branco now improves to 55-8-2-(34), Siaca falls to 20-6-(18).
On the undercard of the OPI 2000 promoted card former IBF welterweight Michele Piccirillo to retain his European junior-middleweight title for the first time with an 11th round stoppage win over fellow Italian Luca Messi.
