Bhutanese PM Tshering Tobgay joins Narendra Modi on Yoga Day

While the PM took all by surprise by performing asanas on Rajpath, his Bhutanese counterpart Tshering Tobgay also participated in a session in Thimphu.

THIMPHU: PM Narendra Modi's counterpart in Bhutan, some 2,000km away, was giving him company on the International Yoga Day.
While the PM Modi took all by surprise by performing asanas on Rajpath, his Bhutanese counterpart Tshering Tobgay also participated in a session in Thimphu.
Tobgay was among few elected representatives abroad who participated in the sessions.

The event was attended by the Bhutanese PM, his wife and 4 cabinet ministers.
Gautam Bambawale, the Indian ambassador to Bhutan, said that other than New Delhi, Thimphu perhaps was the only other place where the nation's prime minister attended the function.
