Citi Research citing its industry sources noted that Macau table GGR for the first 21 days in June reached MOP11bn (or MOP11.7bn, including an estimated MOP660m in slot-related revenue).
The total daily GGR run rate over the past week equated to MOP555m/day, inline with the
MTD average of MOP556m/day. Despite strong weekend volumes on the mass floors, both softer VIP volumes and poor hold has been a factor throughout June, said the research house.
At this pace June is set to fall 19% compared to May, historically the drop has been
between 6%-20% since 2010. In 2014, June GGR fell 16% compared to May. Citi again cut its full June GGR forecast from MOP18.5bn to MOP16.5bn (-39% YoY).
