Reception will be accorded to Netaji Janmamathi Yathra, which aims to pay homage to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, at Kochi on June 26. The journey, which began from Bhubaneswar, has covered 10 states. The visiting team will reach Ernakulam Town Hall at 1.30 p.m. Fisheries Minister K. Babu will attend a meeting to be held in the evening to felicitate the visiting team. The team will move to Alappuzha and Kollam on June 27.
Enrolment of voters
: Voters may get their names enrolled in the voters list in the wake of the ensuring local body elections in the State. The last date for filing the applications for enrolment is July 15. Applications may be submitted online through the website of the State Election Commission. Applications for correcting the entries in the voters list may also be submitted. Complaints regarding false entries in the list may also be submitted online. The local bodies in the district have been instructed to publish the details of the enrolment drive, says a communication issued by the Deputy Collector.
