ENVIRONMENTALIST Tim Flannery says Queensland should ditch investments in the proposed Galilee Basin mine and instead pump funding into clean energies such as solar.
PROFESSOR Flannery said on Wednesday the demand for coal from China, the biggest buyer of Australian coal, was tipped to drop by five per cent in the next year as they turn towards renewable energy sources.
