A 25-year-old jilted lover attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills at Avanthipuram village near Miryalaguda after he was reportedly rejected by a girl, whom he was in love for sometime. The victim was identified as Nagaraju, native of Tenali in Guntur district. Working with a private chit fund company in Miryalaguda, he fell in love with a private school teacher. However, of late, she reportedly started distancing from him. Nagaraju was rushed to a hospital and a case has been registered. - Staff Reporter
