Jhajjar, June 22
Manoj Kumar (35), a farmer, was shot dead by at his house in Machhrauli village last night. The assailants fled the spot after the crime. The police have registered a case of murder on the complaint of Manoj’s uncle.
The victim’s kin said four armed men barged into the house and decamped with silver coins and gold ornaments after killing Manoj. The accused entered the house around 2 am. Manoj and his wife woke up after hearing some noise. A miscreant fired at Manoj and fled. — TNS
