CeBIT India 2015 Launches with a focus on Digital Economy

CeBIT India 2015, organized by Hannover Milano Fairs India Pvt Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of the global joint venture of Deutsche Messe (Germany) and Fiera Milano Group (Italy), aims to bring a digital solutions marketplace to India, paving the way to India’s Digital India vision after a successful premier edition, CeBIT India 2015 will bring together global and Indian audiences to discover new businesses and innovative technology possibilities with a line up of powerful speakers & thought leaders from the rapidly transforming Digital World. Scheduled from 29th-31st October, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), CeBIT India 2015 aims to steer India closer to its goal of digital transformation.

With the Government’s Digital India vision, CeBIT India 2015 will act as a platform for pertinent discussions about the digital future of India. More than 170 CXOs and CIOs from various industry verticals, including traditional sectors like BFSI, Defence, Retail, Agriculture and Aviation to name a few, will be present to discuss and understand the networking and digital solutions that can shape the furure of their businesses.

At the show, technolgy experts with an established track record in digital transformation across industry verticals will talk about leveraging digital/technologies to lead businesses towards the path of transformation. The show will host an eclectic mix of technology leadership from various sectors including JayanthaPrabhu, Chief Technology Officer, Essar Group; Vijay Sethi, Vice President, CIO and Head CSR, Hero MotoCorp; Rajeev Batra, CIO, MTS India; TG Dhandapani, CIO, TVS Motors; Ajay Bakshi, Senior Vice President – Business Transformation, Aegis Limited; Umesh Mehta, Sr. VP & CIO - India, Jubilant Life Sciences.

This year’s show will see two new additions viz. a special section on Jobs & Careers, and the Public Sector Parc. According to NASSCOM, India will generate a total of 2 lakh jobs this fiscal year. Industries like IT/ITeS are poised to require continuous skill up gradation as well as right counselling, with the spotlight on niche technologies like artificial intelligence and cloud computing. CeBIT India’s section on Jobs & Careers aims to fulfil this need for aspirants as well as hiring managers. A confluence of CEOs, purchasing officers, technology enthusiasts, and consumers, the Public Sector Parc will showcase all aspects of ICT in public-sector administration.
