When entire world come together to participate on International Yoga Day, how our daily soaps can be left behind? &TV has incorporated the essence of yoga in some of its shows. It was the right decision to promote the health benefits through their on-screen characters.
‘Gangaa’ highlights the importance of imparting yoga among children from an early age.
Ruhana Khanna who essays the title role says,"Through the show I got an opportunity to learn something new. I truly enjoyed doing the yoga asans and will now practice is everyday."

In ‘DilliWali Thakur Gurls’, the two protagonists Anjini, a successful entrepreneur and her sister Binny, full-time mom & housewife will be shown promoting the benefits of Yoga. Sara aka Anjini asserts,"We all lead very hectic lifestyles.The best way to deal with stress is to practice yoga. Through our shows on &TV we wish to create awareness of the benefits of practicing yoga among all our viewers."

Saas -Bahu duo from ‘Bhagyalakshmi’ take inspiration from their Bhabhi Maa who even at the age of 60 is an epitome of fitness, all thanks to yoga. Aruna Irani who plays ‘Bhabhi Maa’ vouches for the benefits of this ancient art.

All said and done, the importance of Yoga will be showcased with great fervor everywhere including our favorite shows.
