Comedian Vadivelu is back in action with Eli, directed by Yuvraj Dayalan. The film hit the screens last week and has been receiving not so good response among fans. While the film ham has been getting negative reviews from both print and online media, the actor has thanked the fans for making the film a hit (according to him apparently). While he has said that he could see kids and elders enjoying the film and thanked his fans, he has also thrashed the media for writing bad things about the film.
The star comedian said that while top publications and websites have given positive reviews for Eli, some of them have given a bad review of the film without even watching the movie. He went on to call the reviewers who have given a bad review as psychos and sadists.
Actress Sadha, who was last seen in 2011 Tamil film 'Puli Vesham', is making a comeback of sorts to the industry with upcoming Tamil comedy 'Eli'. Set in the 1970s, the film marks the second time collaboration of the director and Vadivelu after last year's 'Tenali Raman'. In the film, Vadivelu essay a role with the characteristics of a rat.
