Make money from your land!

This was urged by the Minister for Fisheries and Forests Osea Naiqamu.

While speaking at the Lautoka Business Forum he said it does not matter if you have one square metre or 100 acres of land, you can make money.

The forum was organised by the Lautoka Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Minister highlighted the importance of the forum and the opportunities that can arise.

He said this forum is an ideal platform

“For you participants to learn and understand how other stakeholders can be of assistance to your dream projects.

“Utilize this time to the most.”

Opportunities

The Minister was pleased with the fact that Lautoka has initiated such an event where people come together and look at opportunities.

“There are many opportunities pertaining to land, you just need to know which one is the best for you.

“Be it agriculture farming for commercial, goat, chicken, duck, sheep or beefing farming or stepping out of the box to look at agro tourism or eco tourism.”

The forum was officially opened by the Minister Naiqamu in the presence of the Roko Tui Ba Joe Toganivalu.

Also present were the members of the Lautoka Chamber, Department of Lands, iTaukei Land Trust Board along with the stakeholders and members of interested groups.

Sponsorship

The day long forum was sponsored and supported by the Fiji National University, BSP (Bank South Pacific), New India Assurance, Inglewood Realtors, Tanoa Hotel Group, Credit Corporation, Remington, Superb Advertising and Signage Limited, Sun Insurance, Westpac and Reddy group.
