Anish Racing’s Mohit Aryan won the opening race of the Formula LGB 1300cc class in the third round of the MMSC-FMSCI Indian National Racing Championship at the Kari Motor Speedway on Saturday.

Fahad Kutty had a facile win of his own in the Indian Junior Touring Car Class.

Bengaluru’s Abhinav Bikkani of Team Race Concepts had his moment of glory in the Super Stock category.

Earlier, Goutham Parekh clinched pole in the MRF F1600cc class. Title contenders Arjun Narendran (Coimbatore) and Karthik Tharani Singh took the third and fifth qualifying slots respectively..

The results (provisional): Formula LGB 1300: Race 1, 12 laps: 1. Mohit Aryan (Anish Racing); 2. Prashanth (Wallace Sports); 3. Chetan Korada (Wallace Sports).

Indian Junior Touring Cars: Race 1, 12 laps: 1. Fahad Kutty (Team Game Over); 2. B. Siddharth (Red Rooster Racing); 3. Anant Pithawala (Team N1).

Super Stock (Race 1, 12 laps): 1. Abhinav Bikkani (Race Concepts); 2 Varun Anekar (Race Concepts); 3. Kashif Kapadia (Team Game Over).

Qualifying:MRF F1600: 1. Goutham Parekh (Chennai); 2. Chetan Korada (Chennai); 3 Arjun Narendran (Coimbatore).

Indian Touring Cars: 1. Arjun Narendran (Red Rooster Racing); 2. Deepak Paul Chinnappa (Race Concepts); 3. C. Rajaram (Prime Racing).
