On June 22, in Paris, Artcurial Motorcars will present the latest edition of its classic "Automobiles sur les Champs," or "Automobiles on the Champs (Elysées)" and bring together 72 collector cars as well as a selection of automobilia.

Among the most eagerly anticipated vehicles in this sale is a 1962 Maserati 3500 GTI Coupé with a body by coachbuilder Pietro Frua, in original and mint condition, estimated between $550,000 and $835,000. Also sure to attract some heavy bidding are a 1991 Ferrari F40 (estimated between $1.2 million and $1.5 million) and a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring (estimated between $975,000 and $1.3 million). Joining them is a rare 1925 Bugatti Type 13 "Brescia," in its original condition, estimated between $209,000 and $350,000.

Another highlight of this auction will be an Alpine A210 that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the mid-1960s. It's estimated to go for between $418,000 and $696,000. Another sports car in the catalogue, a 1970 Porsche 911 ST that has been completely restored and will be eligible for all international historic motoring events, is estimated between $1 million and $1.3million .

The eighth edition of this series of sales will take place at the historic Théâtre du Rond-Point, just a stone's throw from the Artcurial private garage on the Avenue Montaigne where an exhibit open to the public will take place beforehand. The actual automobile auction will follow an auction of various automobilia, the star of which is an F1 helmet from 1991 belonging to defending world champion Aryton Senna, estimated between $63,000 and $91,000.
