Brahma Kumaris, Nungambakkam, conducted an awareness and de-addiction programme on ‘World No Tobacco Day’ at the Mambalam railway station.

With placards, volunteers of the organisation went about spreading awareness about the ill-effects of using tobacco products.

Over 80 volunteers distributed around 10,000 hand bills to people visiting the station.

Also, 200 registrations were made for the de-addiction camp. A street play was also organised to drive home the message.
