AHMEDABAD: Cluster Pulse, an Ahmedabad based economic development agency has been appointed by SIDBI to address the financial and non-financial issues of Jamnagar’s brass parts cluster.
The agency has already identified gaps in the areas of skill development, infrastructure, knowledge, credit and policy advocacy.
Jagat Shah, founder of Cluster Pulse, said, “The project shall cover aspects like energy conservation in foundry & extrusion units, lean manufacturing, quality control & quality management system, six sigma, inventory control and other aspects.”
The benefits from this project, to the cluster SME’s will be setting up of inter-linkages with other buyer clusters, plugging the demand supply gap, developing a platform for networking with cluster members, among other things.
