TIME TBC, Seven

This two-part biopic isn't exactly intellectually challenging but it's certainly entertaining. Adrien Brody plays Harry Houdini, from his origins as a Coney Island huckster to one of the great entertainers of the 20th century. And for anyone who watched one or both seasons of Todd Sampson's Redesign My Brain, it's particularly interesting to see the way Houdini – a century before anyone even thought of neuroplasticity - employs many of the brain-training tricks learned by Sampson to effect his extraordinary feats.
