Chirag sporting a lean physique for debut

Chirag Patil, the son of Indian cricket team selector Sandip Patil, will make his acting debut later this month with Marathi daily soap 'Yek Number'.
Chirag, who is playing the lead in this show aimed at the younger audience, has gone the extra mile to get into the character. Speaking about it, Chirag said, “During the character briefing, I was told that I have to sport a lean yet strong build.So I underwent a rigorous six-month physical training session where I worked out for four to five hours daily. I put on six kgs and since the focus was on looking lean, I did only weight exercises.”
With tight shooting schedules, the actor is working hard to maintain his physique. “These days I don’t get as much time to workout but I make sure that I control my diet and flex my muscles in whatever little time I get away from shooting,” he added.
