I always wanted to explore a forest
The shoot of Anil Radhakrishnan Menon’s Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi is progressing at a brisk pace in the dense forests of Santhanpara in Idukki district. The actors in the film too seem to be enjoying their stint in the film, one among them being Kunchacko Boban, who recently joined the team.
“The experience of shooting in a forest is new to me,” says the actor, adding that when he was a kid, he always wanted to go inside a forest and explore it.
“But it is only now that my wish has been realised, through the film.” The set of the film has been erected deep inside the forests and the cast and crew travel in a jeep that shuttles between their their villa and the location spot. A nature lover, Kunchacko says, “The journey from the villa to the set is just 2 km and it is an uphill path but takes around 20 minutes. At times, I prefer to walk as it is a fresh feeling altogether.”
The actor, however, makes it a point to carry a stick with him to get rid of the leeches. “So far I haven’t been bitten by a leech here, but I carry a stick all the time. It has been an amazing experience,” he says, without revealing anything about his character in the film. “All the actors have a new look in the film and equal importance is given to each of them. Be it the story or the making, everything about the film looks exciting.”
The multi-starrer also has Reenu Mathews, Parvathy Nair, Priya Lal, Chemban Vinod, Nedumudi Venu, Divyadarshan, and Jacob Gregory in the cast.
