A manhunt has been launched to nab a 30-year-old man, who has been accused of physically and mentally harassing a 26-year-old unmarried woman of Udhna for over five years now.

SURAT: A manhunt has been launched to nab a 30-year-old man, who has been accused of physically and mentally harassing a 26-year-old unmarried woman of Udhna for over five years now.
The woman in her complaint registered at Udhna police station on Thursday evening said that Denish Bhanawala has been harassing her since 2010. She alleged that he had caught her hand on June 2 when she was on her way to buy bread near Jeevan Jyot Cinema.
The woman said when she tried to free herself she fell down on road, alleging that on June 14, someone came on motorcycle and threatened her on his behalf.
Bhanawala, who had a data entry company at Majura Gate, had proposed to her in 2010 but she rejected it. The accused has been stalking and harassing her since then, she said. Udhna police have registered a complaint under IPC sections 354, 506 (2).
Police sub-inspector K P Kharadi said, "We are looking for the accused who was not found at his home."
