A mixture of everything we love about Bollywood is what the 1990s are made up of. The decade is clearly etched in our memories, courtesy of the vibrant songs and movies that were produced. Foot-tapping numbers, funky outfits and amazing music make us want to travel back in time to this splendid era. When any one of these tracks plays, you can’t help but get on your feet and shake a leg. This song featuring Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon, not only gave us dance moves we’ll never forget but also some crazy costume ideas for a Bollywood-themed party. 

 

 

 

2. Yeh kaali kaali aankhen (Baazigar)

 

What marked the beginning of Shah Rukh and Kajol’s epic chemistry, this award-winning song is a must on your list for a kick of nostalgia.

 

 

 

3. Ole Ole (Yeh Dillagi)

19. Main aayi hoon UP Bihar lootne (Shool)

 

This was an out and out Shilpa Shetty number. It is said that the dance steps of the extras weren’t choreographed and they were asked to do their own thing. You can see the video as proof that they went wild after Shilpa, just like all of us still do!

 

 

 

20. Humma Humma (Bombay)

A.R.Rehman’s music, Pop singer Remo’s voice and Sonali Bendre’s cool moves make this a legendary number. So much so that Chris Gayle chose to sing it in an ad sometime back.
