Vadodara gears up for Yoga Day
The Vadodara district administration and the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) have made elaborate plans for the celebrations of the International Yoga Day in the city on Sunday. The official yoga workshop on the day in the city will take place at the Sama Indoor Sports Complex.
VADODARA: The Vadodara district administration and the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) have made elaborate plans for the celebrations of the International Yoga Day in the city on Sunday. The official yoga workshop on the day in the city will take place at the Sama Indoor Sports Complex.
State finance and energy minister Saurabh Patel will participate in the event at the indoor sports complex.The administration on Friday also added the Manjalpur Outdoor Sports Complex as the second venue for the official celebrations on the day.
Programmes will also be held at 12 venues under each administrative ward precinct of the VMC. Apart from these programmes will also be held at the Sardarbaug guest house, Vitthal Mandir, Mandvi and Zabak Bhavan at Ajwa Road. The city police has also organised an event on the day.
