Embracing the eclectic

We love the interplay of myriad elements, influences, styles and inspirations. This living room embodies and reflects our sensibility and philosophy. Deconstructing the look Big furniture pieces, a large chandelier, rich furnishings and objets d'art, come together to create an eclectic space. The sofa is fashioned from brass is boldly embellished with 3D bolts. Complementing it, is the coffee table, crafted from glass and granite with metal inlay work. An antique Persian carpet with floral motifs is juxtaposed with geometric kilim inspired cushions; while our lotus and palm tree lights are an ode to nature. Mix and match The USP of this space is that it is a melting pot of styles. While the Persian carpet and kilim inspired cushions lean towards a classic look, the 3D bolts, metal inlay work are a reinterpretation of industrial design.

The gentlemen's club

We wanted to create a nook that's rich, luxurious, strong and masculine. While using understated hues, the overall space had to make a statement. Get the look A pair of tall grand wing chairs in cream and black, a bar in pure cowhide and a black leather crocodile-embossed trunk coffee table brings opulence to the space. A bear in leather works as an added life-size accessory. The colours are in muted tones of cream, black and brown keeping it elegant and understated at the same time. The big picture The overall look is minimal, however, if you take a closer look you will see that each piece makes a statement, this is the USP of the space. Coffee table books and candle stands add warmth to the corner.

An Indian summer

In the spirit of celebration, we've created a dramatic corner in vibrant hues of pinks and reds aptly titled 'An Indian Summer'. Sum of its parts The customised wallpaper is the perfect backdrop for F.N. Souza's sketches and hand carved marble bust. Water gurgles from the handcrafted marble fountain and adds a sense of serenity to the space. Adding to the decadence is the drop chandelier which illuminates the silver furniture. Look, touch and smell The USP is that it plays with textures, patterns and scents. The rough brick wall goes well with the smooth marble pieces, while the rose petals fill the room with a sweet scent.

The nautch of Fez

We are celebrating a collection that infuses elements of Morocco with the era of Indian Nautch girls. This has been interepreted in the bedroom. Decode the design The Romani Gold Bed has distressed gold lacquer in the detailed tiered Moroccan archway that befits modern day royalty. Intricate gunmetal jaali along with the gunmetal tassels in contrast strengthens our design ethos of contradiction in material. It should be placed amidst simpler pieces and modern finishes to strike the right balance. The use of distressed red in an exotic paint technique in the Romani armoire defines this dramatic piece, which showcases profound craftsmanship. It is essentially a concealed bar unit and is truly a treat for any connoisseur. Signature style The whole idea of using signature pieces such as this is that they command a beautiful presence of their own and must be used in a dramatic manner among contemporary surroundings, even in the bedroom.
